LIMESTONE BUILDING GROUP RECEIVES TOP HONORS FROM AMERICAN SUBCONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION
(Tanner, AL – March 22, 2013) – Limestone Building Group of Tanner, AL is proud to be recognized by American Subcontractors Association, ASA, with the 2012 National Construction Best Practices Award.
ASA kicked off their 2013 Business Forum and Convention in Las Vegas this week where they presented its 2012 National Construction Best Practices Awards to five contractors that demonstrate an extraordinary level of commitment to best industry practices, such as safety management, prompt payment, prompt processing of change requests and claims, and effective project scheduling and coordination.

LIMESTONE BUILDING GROUP MAKES THE CUT FOR TOP CONTRACTORS NATIONWIDE TO RECEIVE BEST PRACTICES AWARD FROM ASA By American Subcontractors Association
(Mooresville, AL – February 4, 2013) – Limestone Building Group has been listed as one of only five construction contractors nationwide to receive a 2012 National Construction Best Practices Award from ASA – American Subcontractors Association.
ASA's Task Force on Ethics in the Construction Industry conducted the evaluation. An awards ceremony will be held on March 21 at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas where the winner will be announced. The ceremony will take place in conjunction with the ASA President's Reception and GC Expo at the ASA Business Forum and Convention.

March 27, 2012 – Athens-Limestone Public Library Foundation
At the March 26th Athens City Council meeting, the Council approved the selection of Limestone Building Group, LLC as the construction manager for the project to renovate the Kroger grocery store on Jefferson Street. Once this selection is approved by the County Commission, renovation work will begin.
Paula Laurita, Executive Director of the Athens Limestone Public Library stated, “We are excited about moving forward and continuing to be a leader in engaging the community through education and economic development. We are hopeful that this new library will serve as a catalyst for continued growth."
Dr. Frank Cauthen, chair of the Athens Limestone Public Library Foundation agreed, saying “We are pleased that the City Council has approved the selection of a construction manager for this project, which will take us one step closer to making the new Library a reality for our community. We hope this action will encourage others in the community to support the campaign effort.”
The Athens Limestone Public Library Foundation has naming opportunities available in the new facility, and donors of $5000 or more will be recognized on a “Major Donor Wall”. The Foundation is still raising funds to meet the second phase of the Dekko Foundation $1,000,000 matching grant. The initial $250,000 challenge was met before the end of 2011, and $450,000 remains on the 2012 phase of the challenge.
